Air Idaho Rescue (A.I.R.) was established in 1990 to meet the needs of

Eastern Idaho, Northwest Wyoming and Southwest Montana. 

A.I.R. is owned and operated by Omniflight Helicopters, Inc. with a rotor wing aircraft based at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and a fixed wing aircraft based at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport. 

A.I.R. is committed to providing safe, appropriate care and transport of the critically ill or injured patient within a 500 nautical mile radius of Idaho Falls.  A registered nurse and paramedic team cares for all patients flown by A.I.R.  Both receive frequent training on a host of invasive procedures and life-saving drug administration and equipment. Dedicated pilots and mechanics round out our team of professionals committed to the safe transport of your patients. 

      EIRMC is a regional trauma center with medical services that include; neurosurgery, invasive cardiology and cardiac surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, internal medicine, pulmonology, high risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care and a host of other state of the art specialties you would expect at a regional medical center.
